VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families news euro cup and educators via street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present clear information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. Details were published in a published overview.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
